2018 European Association of Airport & Seaport Police Conference

14th–15th May 2018 at EUROPOL, The Hague, Holland

It is with great pleasure, as your President I can announce EUROPOL have agreed to host our 2018 conference in The Hague, Holland. Providing access to the excellent EUROPOL conference facilities, together with ample breakout rooms to accommodate workshops and plenary sessions.

The theme of this year’s conference is: ‘Maintaining a flexible and agile security capability, that protects our ports in a changing threat environment’. The conference programme will include: Physical Cyber Threats to Ports, Collaborative Working to address the Changing Threat & Risk Picture; The Counter Terrorism Threat to our Ports & Borders; followed by a Cyber Security & Counter Terrorism Exercise. Following each presentation there will be panel / breakout sessions allowing in-depth discussions and a developed understanding of current issues and security solutions.

A welcome reception will be held during the evening of 13th May where delegates and speakers can meet. There will also be ample time for delegates to network during the two days of the conference. To conclude, a Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of the 15th May. The EAASP has always attracted a range of Strategic and Senior managers representing Law Enforcement, Industry and Academia thereby developing an excellent conference opportunity.

This conference is ‘not to be missed,’ please hold these dates in your calendar to ensure you are available to attend. The EAASP is a non-profit association run by senior law enforcement personnel. The conference content is developed in conjunction with our academic and business partners to ensure the content is relevant and timely. Delegate information, including nearby hotel and facilities will be circulated shortly.
