Announced meetings
1 Universal Security Audit Programme – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USAP – CMA) seminar – 24–26 April 2018, Kyiv, Ukraine
ICAO will conduct an USAP-CMA seminar for all states in the EUR/NAT regions from 24 to 26 April 2018, hosted by Ukraine in Kyiv. The seminar will explain the objective and principles of the ICAO USAP-CMA, discuss related questions and shall serve to help States in preparing for audits. States are urged to participate.
2. European and North Atlantic (EUR/NAT) Office Aviation Security Group (ENAVSECG) meeting – special edition , Global Aviation Security Plan (GASeP) implementation conference for the EUR/NAT regions– 29-31 May 2018, Lisbon , Portugal
ENAVSECG will be conducted as a “Special edition” this year with one purpose, to support the implementation of the GASeP in the EUR/NAT regions. The GASeP implementation conference will welcome the ICAO Secretary General as well as the Director of the Air Transport Bureau (D/ATB), the Regional Director of the EUR/NAT office and the Deputy Director AVSEC and Facilitation ( DD/ASF) inter alia and is meant for High Level participation (political commitment of states, organizations and industry to implement the GASeP) as well as AVSEC management participation from all areas.
States, organizations and industry are urged to participate!
3. AVSEC/FAL workshop for Eastern Europe and Central Asia/06 – 10-14 September 2018, Skopje, FYROM
The next AVSEC/FAL workshop for Eastern Europe and Central Asia will be conducted 10-14 September 2018, hosted by the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) in Skopje.
4. Joint Mediterranean Seminar/ 03 – 13-15 November 2018 , Cairo, hosted by the ICAO MID office
The third Joint Mediterranean seminar, jointly organized by ICAO EUR/NAT, MID and WACAF office as well as ECAC, will be hosted by the ICAO MID office in Cairo. As the two seminars before (2014 and 2016) it is meant to support the cooperation of states around the Mediterranean Sea and close neighbours in Africa.
